Windandsea Coconuts

Our story

From breakfast sandwiches to branded coconuts.

Windandsea Coconuts began with a dream and a sandwich. In 2021, Harrison Goldfarb left his venture capital career in New York City to chase a new kind of paradise in San Diego.

While walking the shore at Pacific Beach, he met Felix, the founder of Pour Boy Coffee. Inspired by Felix’s hustle, Harrison opened a breakfast sandwich cart and started selling bacon, egg, and cheese, a New York favorite, to Southern California. It was during those early mornings that a bigger idea struck: custom-branded coconuts. What started as a beachside stand turned into weddings, festivals, conferences, and activations with Vuori, Target, Best Buy, Sun Bum, and Topo Chico, with every coconut a walking billboard for whoever’s logo is on it.

How it went

From one cart to brand activations.

  1. 2021

    The sandwich cart

Harrison leaves venture capital, moves to San Diego, and opens a breakfast sandwich cart on the Pacific Beach boardwalk. Bacon, egg, and cheese at sunrise, with a push from Felix at Pour Boy Coffee.

  2. 2022

    The first stamped coconut

A regular asks for coconuts with her company name on them. We stamp a few dozen for her team, and coconuts start riding on the cart next to the sandwiches.

  3. 2023

    Weddings and parties

Word gets around San Diego. Monogrammed coconuts at beach weddings, birthdays, and backyard parties most weekends of the summer.

  4. 2024

    Hotels and brands

Pelican Hill starts a weekly order for its pool bars. Vuori, Sun Bum, and Topo Chico book their first activations with us.

  5. 2025

    The whole coast

Hyatt Huntington Beach comes on, and the cart starts showing up at conference booths from San Francisco to Las Vegas.

  6. 2026

    Big names, same cart

Bloomingdale's, Target, and Best Buy. The coconuts are the same ones we started with: Nam Hom, chilled, stamped by hand.

Standout event

Bloomingdale’s Makeup Date.

Bloomingdale’s wanted shoppers to stop, stay a while, and post about it. We rolled the cart onto the store floor, stamped every coconut with the Makeup Date mark, and served them chilled with fresh orchids from open to close.

The line never really cleared, and the coconut ended up in more photos than the makeup. That is the job: something cold in your hand with a brand on it that people actually want to share.

The coconut

Why Nam Hom.

Nam Hom is the young, aromatic Thai coconut. Sweeter water than the big brown ones in the grocery store, a soft shell that takes a clean hot stamp, and a size that fits in one hand with a straw. Everything is chilled before it leaves our kitchen.
